And there are many different reasons but contrary to popular opinion you should not use networking to look for the next sale or for potential customers! Networking is about building relationships, where you help others and look out for opportunities for others rather than yourself when they get to know, like and trust you, others will help you.
This commitment does not stop the minute you walk out of the door but is a continuous and on-going process. Networking for some can be a different thought process, and looking out for those opportunities when the arise for others.
