Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor at StressCatcher
Currently, I work as an Integrative Counsellor (MBACP), who integrates different theories (person-centered, psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioural therapy) at St Barnabas Counselling Center (https://www.stbcc.org.uk/) and at Stresscatcher.
I qualified through Middlesex University-Matrix College of Counselling and Psychotherapy Dip Integrative Counselling.
I also qualified in 1998 as a Clinical Psychologist abroad, working in different countries, including at the WHO in Geneva in the Programme of Substance Abuse.
I have also worked for 10 years in the NHS Mental Health services in East Anglia, with clients presenting with severe and enduring mental health in the psychotic spectrum and personality disorders. Not only that but I have worked with primary care clients suffering from depression and anxiety in the Wellbeing Service.
My experience has led me to work with different types of therapies from psychodynamic to cognitive behavioural leading me to where I am now
Outside my work, I love to spend time with my two dogs, two cats and love to spend time with my family.
